Weird that they don't have a dual zone option for the climate knob rings.. I wonder what's different?? In the compatible/not compatible pictures on their site I had to do a double take because I couldn't even tell the difference at first.

 

That steering wheel emblem looks awesome. Did you just paint it on the cover or did you completely remove the emblem?

I removed it completely, sanded the chrome and applied multiple light coats and added a few coats of clear

 

I may do this myself, but I’m so undecided on an accent color. I have a black truck so theoretically any color will do, I just don’t want it to be too bold and tacky, but yet standout. Indecisiveness is a bitch lol

 

Haha. Yeah I hear ya! That’s why I’m doing some in red, and some in cement. Didn’t want to do all red, but I wanted some color pop. I didn’t re-glue the emblem on the steering wheel, so if I want to change it, I can just pop it off now. It stays in place really well without the glue too

Now all we need is for them to make the push start and 4x4 knob ring too

 

Do you really need to pull the whole dash tondo the vent rings

 

Not really. You do have to remove the cluster trim and radio trim. It's easy and you just have to pull it off. If you go to the AJT Youtube, he has a video going over the entire install. Very easy.

 

Cool yeah I pulled it for the DMM install. What about the outside vents

 

Just placed my order. And 1st post here. I have been a jeep XJ guy for a while. Made the jump over recently. I really cant wait for the cup holder trim. It is the one that reflects the most sun for me while I drive.

 

I can't wait either, that chrome cup holder trim bugs me to! .... more red trim for my Taco when are they going to be available?
