I'm not so sure the Dewalt cordless tools are crap man. I mean contractors, home owners still use them all the time. An individual might've had bad luck with them but think the big 3 are fairly similar in quality. I personally like Milwaukee and Makita only because that's all I've used and haven't had a need yet to check any others out. A big plus to me with Milwaukee or Makita is Home Depot carries and so if ever needed a return or an issue with em, home despot is great for returns and swapping tools without a hassle

DH Griffin Wrecking Co. They have yards all over my area, but theyre a huge company so they could be out west too. I go there first whenever I need steel for projects at the house. But if its in the yard its for sale, so today I was able to pull the electronics off a stretch wrap machine.

It really is. Although I cringe whenever Im driving through it, you park in the yard cause its too huge to walk through. I fear for my tires lol.

Sounds like driving behind my work, lathe and mill shavings everywhere. I wouldn't ever dare doing it haha, but I'll do a burnout in it with the forklift

The yard is really good about keeping the roads clear, but you still cringe. Its sucks that the public sales office is in the back of the yard too. If I wanted to sell scrap to them, theres a nice parking lot and you go through the scales without worry. They'll let you walk all over the property and buy anything you can get out of there though, which is really surprising.

Two of the huge yards near me are really good about keeping things clear and one is so bad that they use solid wheelbarrow tires haha

Oh for car junkyards I would never drive through em if they would even let you. LKQ is horrible about keeping the isles clear, you can walk through there and trip on engine blocks laying in the isles haha. Pull a part on the other hand keeps their yards immaculate. They pick up everything after hours, even the bolts people drop.

Ah okay, strange config but makes sense for the conditions. I live right down the street from a Cummins R/D facility, I think they give tours, should check that out one time

Yeah Norfolk Southern and I imagine others are using them as yard switchers, much more eco friendly. NS100rs1.jpg
