    Yes the dot would be at ~7 o-clock.
    While I can't guarantee that it will pass a smog test I can say that I have sent about 20 sets to California without any complaints.

    There’s no way they would know. No sniffer test on 2011 don’t know when that will change but sniffer test is mostly phased out

    California does not do a sniffer test on vehicle model year 2000 and newer. the computer and emissions components are advance enough that as long as there are no present fault code that cause the check engine light to come on, you pass a visual and the vehicle is not modified, then the vehicle should be "clean". so they dropped the sniffer test part. they will do a snap test on the throttle to make sure you dont blow smoke out the tail pipe. hope that helps you.

    Not something I can do as my motor is worked. If someone wanted to do this, as discount could be arranged. Like a before and after custom tune with hptuners-(which when dynoed didn't show much) I doubt this is going to net lots of hp, what it is going to net is superior driveablity when compared to before.

    That’s what everyone’s butt dyno days and I dot doubt its true but that should still show up as improved torque, especially since folks report better gas mileage

    CAI, Exh. Cam Gears, CSF Rad., AFE Headers w/2.5" Exh., 2" Toytec Bilstein, 265/75/16 Mickey T's.
    Has anyone had any issues with passing Texas emissions with these cam gears? It doesn't sound like it would be an issue but would hate to have to tear everything apart again if it wouldn't pass.

    Know what your state's emissions testing parameters are.... then ask yourself if changing the about of exhaust released from a cylinder by a 3 degree change in your timing will cause you to fall outside those parameters. We cannot tell you how to pass a federal requirement, or how to work around one. These will pass a visual inspection, obviously, due to the fact they are buried inside your engine. These do not cause a CEL or any other code to be thrown by your ECU, another check done by most states during an emissions test. But again, know the law.
