The guy who authored that thread over double what I did to choose from, that would be nuts to try and sort through. The place i bought my 2012 from is pushy so it'll be interesting to see how he reacts to me shopping around.

Well, I paid MSRP as well but I didn't get the decal so that's $700 off

Didn't get any better pricing from the two more that did provide me pricing, go figure. That's ok I am waiting on more responses after responding to all that sent me emails.

 

I think its just way too early in the game so they are holding on tight with their prices. I did find about 3 more dealerships that I missed so I shot them a few emails. They will be included in the hunger games.

 

It is but I only got 3 prices out of 52 dealerships, most of them wanting me to come in or get my phone number or getting what I asked for wrong. I was happy with the 3800 under, and that will be where I start off at against the others.

When you want the best price you gotta do what you gotta do. In the "So you want to buy a Tacoma" thread the OP in that threat contacted over 100 dealerships hah. My best offer now is $4,193 off MSRP.

9.05% off MSRP is what I have now and I believe I can get a toyota supplier discount which will knock of the destination charge at the very least.

 

Good luck on the hunt, I searched for 6 months for each of my last 3 vehicles. And was able to get a good deal on all 3. Had to go to South Carolina, Texas and Pennsylvania all from Tennessee to make those work. I'm actually trying to stay local this time, just unsure if they'll deal on trading my 2018 M3 in... Hoping to have that answer tomorrow.

 

Anyone with a 2020 having issues with the android auto? Mine has been laggy this past week but it just did an update tonight (with the look of the menu changing) so i'm hoping it is more responsive moving forward. I'm sure the systems in the taco and 4runner aren't too different??

Based on what I have heard and read, could it be your phone that has the issues?

 

Possible. It's an S9+ with everything up to date. I may try and see if my old S7 edge has the same issues.

The system did prompt me for an update and I did update the whole android auto interface on my drive home tonight so i'm hoping that'll take care of the bugs.
