Haha I know you’ve been traumatized before, hopefully leaving the suspension geometry at factory specs will keep it happy.

Considered that, but then I'd have to paint the other 4 to match lol.

I opted to order a roll for $5. Can just stencil it and cut the last 2 pieces myself instead of ordering pre-cut lol. May paint all 5 later on, but being cheap for now lol.

Well that sounds like more of a mechanic and insurance problem than a Jeep itself problem lol. Death wobble can be fixed it’s just a host of issues that can be the cause. Track bar, tie rod/drag link, control arm bushings and ball joints are why it happens, unbalanced wheels, potholes, toe-in are the catalysts mostly. Either way I’m no very scared to dive into it as I’ll be doing everything and I don’t consider myself to be a dumb mechanic.

Dent wizard does a good job and they’re reasonable, they powder coat a primer and paint after sanding to raw metal.

My long term plans include another LJ. with the reliable Taco to drive I'll be able to properly work on the Jeep and ensure I don't get screwed again.

But until then, consider me a Jeep hater lol

Collecting parts atm, FINALLY doing the ADM tomorrow morning.

I'd do it today, but I've got a wedding to get to.

I have had the parts for the ADM for a couple months now.. I still haven’t gotten this done. My truck is parked at the airport more than my driveway.

What's interesting is the sport M/T shares a brake/clutch reservoir. Bleeding the clutch after the delete will be fun.

    ALSO

Automotive news says Toyota is moving to a universal body on frame platform for the Tundra, Tacoma, 4 Runner, Sequoia, and possibly Landcruiser.

Tundra in 2021, Taco and 4 Runner to follow in 2023. Meaning the 3rd gen Taco is only getting a. 7 year production run. (take that, Nissan Frontier, at 14+ years on the same gen)

When I read unibody on frame, all I think about is a Honda Ridgeline. My buddy had one we called it a Hondamino (Honda El Camino). I guess Toyotamino has a nice ring to it.

it’s really not that bad. Just be sure to clamp the reservoir and don’t let it run dry when you are bleeding it
