    Makes sense.

After watching videos though, I'd rather much take the manual hub assembly off to pull out an axle VS the ADD setup.

I don't want to deal with a big ass 35mm/36mm nut on that thing.

If I go ADD, I'm getting @eon_blue to swap my axles for me. He's a pro...:stirthepot:

I bet Tyler's are fine and just need to be relubed. If you use more than a very thin layer of grease they tend to not work. Ask me how I know :homer:

You kidding me? It’s 100x easier to remove an ADD axle. It takes 5 minutes versus the 30+ to do a manual hub axle. There’s no snap ring, no manual hub to remove — just that huge nut. I’ve removed ADD axles in less than 5 minutes before at the junkyard. I shove a long 1/4 extension into the rotor cooling veins and lodge it against a car stand. Then I go to town with my Breaker bar.

Should've seen the look on my girls face; she got home early from the gym only to find me pulling out cookie sheets from the oven with freshly tumbled brass casings all over

Preheat to 350, turn off and place wet brass on cookie sheets for 10-15 minutes to dry.

Yeah, good point. There aren’t any Tundras around here and by the time I get there the calipers are long gone. I’m going to try rebuilding these and if they fail again I’ll find an OEM set.

As evident by the rust, the upper right bolt has been missing for quite some time. The rust means water had enough time to splash in there and corrode it.

Bottom left hole; clean the threads?

Maybe it's just me but the threads look buggered up near the end...
