6 weeks and the release date has been pushed back 3 times.

Seller had good reviews actually so I’m not too concerned.

Why don't you go to Discount Tire and have them price match?

Pardon if I am completely missing back story here...

Did order from discount tire, but they are on national backorder so they can’t get them. After the third time the release date was pushed back I found a set from a seller on eBay.

Was considering these since my buddy loved wheeling with his until he had to drive in the snow with them last winter. They were absolutely terrible in the snow and he switched them out recently before this winter.

I went with 37x12.5x17 Milestar Patagonia MT. They have a bunch of siping and closer center tread blocks for a mt. Wheeled with a couple people running them last spring and they said they were amazing in the snow, better than duratracs which is what they ran before and what I’ve been running for the last 7yrs. Only downside I’ve read about is tread life, but that’s not really a big concern since I don’t dd the truck. If I can get 15-20k miles or 2-2.5 yrs I’ll be happy.

IDK if I missed a conversation or not... but are the LCAs stock length, +2, +more than stock? Didn't look like much strain on the steering linkage or axle shaft boots. Asking because I've been looking to upgrade my linkage before going LT and extended axles. I gusseted my spindles a few months ago and completely relocated my Cab mount on the Frame. LOOKS Nice for sure, love that those LCAs are re-greaseable!!

Long travel and all the stuff that goes with it (fiberglass, axles, 35”+ tires and regearing) wasn’t in the budget so these are just the stock length LCA’s.

    @Coot83 & @snowsk8air2 are both LT though.

Which relocation did you do? Alpine Designs or Red Goat Fab (or other?)?

@TailHook came over today and helped me with the transmission!! Thank you so much for helping with everything!! We really got the transmission cleaned up, replaced the front output shaft seal, and the torque converter needed soooo much fluid. I scrubbed the transmission tunnel and the underside of the car too. There can't be much dirt left anywhere on this thing.

HA, you made me go out and look, couldn't remember the name for the life of me! But you got it, they are Alpine Designs Cab Mounts and All-Pro Spindle Gussets. (Looks like shit from exploring over the past few weeks and not giving her a bath) But it is incredible the space it creates, did some fender well tubbing/cutting also to fit the 34"s I have on now.

I totally understand the budget thing man. Just prepping and strengthening where and what I can for when the time comes to turn this truck into just a toy. Once I find a new job and get the income flowing again, the sick addiction these trucks bring will be back on!! hahaha

Spent the day organizing in the garage. Bought a few totes and organizers and broke down multiple smaller "boxes 'o shit" I have accumulated into smaller stuff that fits on shelves or in drawers more handily.
I'm having a kind of "come to Jesus" moment here about renovating it though. Gonna have to get some built ins and reconfigure the space and get a few key omissions taken care of.
    IMG_2789.jpg
(as an aside @Man of Steel TRD how are your floors so damn clean!? Did you seal or coat it? I am getting random oil drips and tire streaks everywhere.)

So first off that far wall has NO outlets whatsoever, which has got to change. I want to get new light fixtures too so I am thinking I will get an electrician out to install the light fixtures and then add a new breaker for about 5 outlets spaced out inside there.

The rockwool and wood frames are a temporary situation, that's for the home theater stuff and should be gone soon. If anyone needs any rockwool BTW, we probably aren't using 100% of it and will have either 1 or 2 full bales of it (6 sheets) available.
That shelf behind the Miata is going in the trash, it's freaking melted!
    IMG_2791.jpg

Once all that is out of the way though I can scoot the Miata a foot or two to the wall and free up some space.

I'm still kinda conflicted about what to do about the space in front of my truck:
    IMG_2794.jpg

I'd really like a deep sink and this would basically be the only spot it sort of makes sense.

So maybe, replace the shelving unit with a deep sink, put some built in cabinets on the wall above it, and then roll my tool chests here as well.

Any thoughts or recommendations? I must admit I am finding my idea of "just throw in some shelves and a rollaway tool chest" was woefully inadequate and I'd rather not make a more expensive mistake!

The shelf in front of your truck, what is behind that wall. To put a sink there you will need a drain there or close to it.

Nevermind. Just looked at other pics and seen water heater and softener. Should be a drain near by.

It's the laundry room. I *think* that means it's the easiest possible drain to tap into but I am a total newb when it comes to house stuff like that.

Oh, and the other thing that is fucking brutal is finding tools from my grandpa that I have no reasonable use for but I feel like garbage throwing in the trash.

Like I really don't need a compression tester with a dry rotted hose that's stiff as a board, or a glaze breaker hone, but to "shitcan" it, as my pop would say, feels... wrong somehow. That's something I need help with.
