OME 885x or 887x Coil Help!

I am looking to order an OME suspension within the next couple months for my 2011 DCSB 4x4. I have spoken with Marie at HS and researched but still hoping to get some advice/thoughts from others.

I was originally planning on going with OME 885x coils, 90021 soft valved nitro chargers (trim packer on DR), LR UCA's, and medium duty Dakars. There are many different measurements out there regarding the 885x coil and lift height (every thread and post seems to be different). Headstrong seems to be more on the aggressive end and Wheelers seems to be more conservative. I have no bumper/winch currently and will likely only add sliders within the next year or so.

Question...are the Dakars going to give significant rake with no weight in the back? I primarily drive with nothing in the back besides skis or mountain bikes. If so, is the 887x coil a better option to lift the front and reduce the rake? I don't mind an inch or so rake but don't wan't 2+ from the Dakars. I'm not wanting to go the AAL route. Also, I'll be adding 255/85/16 Cooper St Maxx at the same time.

2015 DCLB I got just over 23" in front with 887 and 5100's. The 1/4" spacer didn't level out the front so I got a 3/8" spacer from Wheelers and that did the trick. Dakar HD in back and got around 24" with a shell. This was just after the lift, I have measured lately.

 

From what I have read, people are having to compensate for the taco lean more with the 887's than the 885's. I am guessing that the increase in lift height brings out the taco lean more.

From OZ T's Dakar thread it looks like DCSB and DCLB average 24 5/8 inch in the rear with Dakar's and no weight. So even with the 887's I am guessing you would still have some rake. Thanks for the information.

Just checked out your build thread. Looks like you still have some rake but seems to be the perfect amount. Any idea on measurements?

 

Nope, of course I forgot to take any when I put the lift on. I also have the heavy dakars so the medium might not give as much lift.

 

I believe they are supposed to be the same lift height unloaded but I think it just all depends on the truck. Did you run a top plate spacer on drivers side for the lean? Not sure the trim packer on nitrochargers will be enough from what I have been seeing.

So without 660 lbs you are looking at more?
