Stainless Laser Cut Grilles starting at $199 - Now with 2018+ TSS

Yeah, for that price I'm in, unless this gap is a lot bigger than I'm imagining.

 

The clarify, the pic that I previously posted does not have a gap. This one does though:

 

Oh, man, that’s close. What’s the measurement on the gap, give or take? I’m wondering if I would notice it more or less with my orange.

 

Less than 1/8". According to the cut file, it's off by 0.118" at most and then tapers off to less as it goes to the sides.

If the gap is a deal breaker, I understand. We do have perfectly fitting ones, still at the very reasonable price of $199 if you like the styling.

Okay Fam,

Just finished install. Relatively smooth. I suggest you YouTube how to remove a Tacoma grill, and then follow the instructions they send you in the box. Drilling was easy for the TSS system. I give it a 9/10. There are some blemishes and a little scratch... AND I’m having trouble keeping the black vinyl behind the lettering clean. Other than that I love it !

@customcargrills what touch up paint should I snag to fix it ?

 

Nice to see it installed. If you have a slightly closer up picture to share, that'd be great to see too. The plate behind the lettering is a thin piece of powder coated stainless, not vinyl. That finish is prone to picking up oils from your skin and is a challenge to keep spot free. Some isopropyl alcohol wipes usually work well.

As for a blemish or scratch, email me a picture of the problematic areas. It's possible a speck of dust got in the powder coat, I don't recall seeing an issue when it when I shipped it though. It might also be possible there is a tiny area where the paint hook was, but I'm usually good at touching those up before shipping.

Had it sent raw and my local powder coater did it in gunmetal grey, along with the front hitch, side steps, KB Voodoo Bed Rack, etc....

In short, I can make it if you want to order it. Probably a 7-10 day lead time before I'd ship. I believe I have 1-2 "TACOMA" grilles with silver plates in stock now. A "TOYOTA" grille or a black letter plate though would be made to order.

I'd gladly stock more of these, and in all configs, and offer tons of other cool styles if there was real demand. As it stands now, since we launched these on Apr 22nd, I believe we've given away 13 and sold 5 of them. Until things turn around I'll just stop my losses and once they are gone, they'll just be a cut-to-order type item.
