    couple deer, one bull moose. Not sure what the deer were as all I saw was the back end bounding out of sight. And heard one bugle.

    Shot a doe last night. Looked like a perfect shot. Tracked for a while last night and found good spots and then random smaller drops. Getting ready to head out and look again this morning.

    I’m thinking that no exit hole is the reason for inconsistent blood trail. Definitely looked like a good heart shot. She was quartering away just a hair. Frustrated but I’m gonna look for about 3 hours this am. Temps were cool here last night so that is a good thing.
