No big red drum yet. Bunch of small kingfish, blues and black drum. Been fishing at ramp 4 and no one looks to be catching no drum. Might be headed closer to the point.

Any of you guys know what's going on down south of Oregon inlet?

We have a place in Manteo - down there all the time. Either in my wife's 4Runner, or my TRDOR.

D885A7F1-7395-42F7-BBA1-1E9642F335AD.jpg Remember, when visiting the OBX, don’t be like this jackass and go for a drive in the dunes. Stay on the established ORV trails and obey the rules. If you don’t you will end up with a large fine and an expensive tow. There are a lot of folks trying to restrict our access to public beaches. Stuff like this only helps them.

I just got back from Avon, had a couple days of rain but overall it was a great trip. Caught a baby pompano and a bunch of mullet. I hope the weather is good for you, I heard there is a lot of overwash right now.

The conditions are tough, big water lot of wind. Ramp 55 is unfishable due to overwash. Tomorrow and Wed should be better.
