Took the Taco on its first camping trip. Mileage sucks on the highway with extra weight (about 14 hauling a bunch of wood and archery / camping gear luckily the wood was only back there for 15 miles). My 6yo son and I had a good time. Was cold AF, around 30 degrees so we packed out early morning. We were on a hike yesterday afternoon and he was scrambling through a downed tree on a trail and yells to me to come check out this baby possum...I go over and to my surprise their are two guinnie pigs running around under the trunk of the tree. They would obviously die pretty quick as it’s getting cold now, so we went back and caught one. Tried several times to find the other but couldn't, maybe an owl got it there were lots of those around. Someone obviously dumped them, anyway back home now, tired AF with a whistle pig that spent the night shitting in my cooler. Stopped and bought food and bedding and stuff. Wife just went to grab a cage from a local CL ad. Relevance to training none, other than I ate a bunch of garbage and am too tired to hit my second lower session for the week. Ma6be after a nap....

Didn't have the best Sunday workout but I hit 410lbs really easy on a double overhand axle deadlift which is nice.

And that's after 3 (double paused) sets of the same lift. Grip is fun.

You know how some days everything moves fast and feels like a feather?

this isn’t one of those days. Riding the grind over here. Squats are moving. Just moving slow.

Them dead lifts were heavy this morning but didn’t quit. Next back day I’m gonna try to focus on lower back since I have basically no definition back there.

    what are y’all doing today?

Thor, The Mountain, put his programs on sale and I bit. Bought his Power Program 1.0 and 2.0 both for only $30. Pretty good deal considering the coaches I’ve worked with before were $50-$75/mo and both these programs will last me 6months. Will be interesting to see the progress considering I’ve only been doing bodybuilding style workout for the last 12 weeks during this cut. Usually when I focus on power I don’t worry about diet/nutrition but I’m going to keep cutting and focusing on my current macro split. I am also usually about 15lbs heavier so going to be interesting to see the strength I can build being lighter. No plans to compete again, at least at the moment. Still want to make sure my hip can hold up through higher intensity programming
