2009 Tacoma ext cab v6 manual with 87k 15,500

Considering purchasing...anything to worry about white this configuration?
They also have a 2005 double cab auto with 150k...too high mileage...10K price.

 

2005 - 2006 had v6 head gasket issues and notorious motor mount problems, 2009 is a better year. Make sure the frame isn't rusted.

 

Wow....great info on the 2005...definitely a skip! Will check out 09 underbody for rust issues(Any recall on that by chance if it's a problem?)

 

went and checked out 2009 and as mentioned...major frame rust and no longer available for sale!

 

Dodged a bullet then, the frame rust issue is the kiss of death for these trucks. Though there is a replacement program going on still for 2nd gens, but I wouldn't want to take on that headache. Shouldn't be too hard to find one without rust issues, look out of state in the Southwest if you can. Tons of rust free Tacomas around these parts
