Did you have to hose it down, just to make it harder? Nothing but clouds around here.

Hanging out on the balcony with the bitches. This the the first apartment I have ever had where I wasn't overlooking a parking lit. Must say, pretty peaceful.

It is. She is a pretty good dog. She gets some crazy separation anxiety though. I guess going through 4 homes in 7 months will do that though. She has gone through a few blankets in her crate when we leave for extended periods. She now has a shredded harbor freight floor liner in there. Yesterday she tried to get out to the balcony and accidentally pulled the blinds down and broke them. I blame that on her being a big goofy hitch though.

I am too cheap to live on the first floor. I save over a hundred bucks living on the third floor. Plus, I don't have to hear people above me! The last place sucked as we were destroyed by the sun and heat rises, but in this place we are sitting in the shade on the backside of the building luckily!

Hello SA family, sorry for not posting in a while.

I've got something that I thought I would post in here to see what options are available.

My cousin totaled his Dad's car (big buck went through the windshield). They are going to get $15K back from the insurance after the deductible.

The car they had was a 2014 Camry XLE, but I know they really want a pickup. They only got the Camry because it was another family members car that sold it to them for very cheap.

So I am wondering of anyone is looking to sell a truck in the SA area for $15K or less. They dont have a brand preference, but they want something that does not need any major repairs for at least the next few years. Automatic transmission is a must, and 4x4 is preferred. No other options really matter, as long as it will run reliably.

My recommendation is of course a first Gen Tacoma or Tundra, but finding a clean one in the SA area is harder than it seems it should be. However, if they can find one for around $10K, they can save the remaining $5K.

Ah, so freshly treated, it's wet! Only good thing about that is sawdust doesn't go fly everywhere!
And you got to fasten that stuff before it warps!

I really like the Crosstrek. Roomy for its size, and has a good ride. A bit under powered IMO, but the gas mileage makes up for it.

But I'm also pushing for them to get a truck so I'm not the only one in the family with a truck. I'd like to not be the only one who has to give up their vehicle whenever anyone needs something moved or towed, lol :D
