Edit: maybe a new fairing design that will allow the hex pods to mount directly to it?

 

Front fairing is actually not my lights. just so happened Baja released a new light with a hex lens too. But it’s apples to oranges. The fronts are optically designed, power house spot/flood/etc made by a reputable brand. All the side/back and aux lights(HexPods) are in a different category/purpose. But I think they will compliment each other.

I’m thinking of installing a visor (shade) on these pods so they don’t blind unsuspecting peeps getting into the truck.

Unrelated, anyone know of a good way to mount solar panels below the bars (or maybe smaller ones in between)? Would like to keep all the load floor accessible and be able to get power automatically when pelicans are off.. (even if I lose 15% efficiency due to shadows)

 

I’ll add some rear fairing lights. Nice thing about the uptop is the slotted extrusion bars in the rear so adding more is simple. But this should take care of it in the meantime

I will say I am super impressed with the quality of the Uptop Alpha. Unlike other racks where it’s just lasered metal(sharp edges) Uptop is a CNC milled(more expensive and time consuming). This allows you to chamfer all the edges for a super clean and custom look.

Was going to try and swing by and pick up a rack on my Thanksgiving trip this year (sent an email to Rci for front bumper/skids/sliders tonight), but might wait until you finish what your doing, the idea of buying a rack complete with all the hexpods and lights in one go is appealing.
And shipping a disassembled rack is alllooottt different than shipping 3 pallets of steel armor lol, so this can wait.

Edit: still don't know what I want for front lights. Dunno if I'm completely sold on the 139 different $300 lights in front vs the single bar lol. Maybe a center led bar and a hex for each side, dunno.
