What Model FWC is that? I had an Eagle in the Silver Spur.

Don't think they make the Eagle anymore. My poor little short bed can only handle the Swift :)

Silver Spur, with flat siding. Interior is a shell that I'm slowly building out!

No, they discontinued the Eagle and stuck with the Fleet. I got an email that they're coming out with a lightweight version so I'm interested to see how that pans out. We love the Eagle but it was just too damn heavy. My fault for maxing it out on options I guess.

Basically their response to wedges like the drifter and GFC. Not a full-time livable rig in my book, but great for weekenders.

Full FWCs are definitely fatties! But for full-time hard to beat. Tacoma is not the best platform for them, but great for tight trails and tight spaces, and one person of course :)

Agreed, we loved the Eagle but we have a DCLB and no matter what I tried I was snapping one of the front turnbuckles whenever we had any amount of frame flex. Seemed like a lot of people with DCLB's on WanderTheWest were having the same problem. I'm still tempted to just get a shell and do it again though, great product for sure. Love seeing your posts, enjoy!

Have the same issue with ft turnbuckle, part blame is lack of gd steel (made in China) stretches then breaks easy. Been finding SS ones that give me longer lifespans.... and one gd old USA one at a thrift store that was real treasure!! Lol
