1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

I dunno man, I got no problem admitting they're cool looking. I've just worked on and helped work on too many that I just couldn't own one. Shit, unless I had to tow and deliver large camp trailers. Then that or the Ford. I dunno, I hope I'm never put in that spot

 

im finding anything larger than a 150, tundra. 1500 w/e is overkill for normal needs... my 7500 limit in the tundra fits all the needs i can think of. and the payload of 2k for the bed is fine. ive never needed to haul more than that. all i cant tow is the bobcat.. but the f350 can do that... when the transmission isnt shitting the bed

my tundra is a 05. 06 was the last year... soo it is ia late model.

you might be thinking of the double cabs. they have a totally different body.

 

New 3500 ram duallys tow like 35k pounds its insane

And I love in general how heavy duty they are. But the shortcuts or under engineered shit in them drives me up the wall. But it was hella comfy and rode like a caddy which was nice. Just unreliable in my only experiences with them. Where your family has had all good experiences with Mopars than it's understandable that you could go that route homie. No shame, I can tell you don't care about us haters, hating on your Mopar

 

when the hell would you need 35k? do you tow heavy equipment?
i think new tundras are 10k. thats more than enough for my needs
