the v8s are fun.
my buddy got rid of his Dakota v8 and found a Colorado v8 for sale.... and now its currently sitting waiting fora buyer... because its rotted out. lol

 

My dads first dakota was a 1997 v8 4wd with every option.

only thing about the dakotas is the front suspension is setup weird and no one makes lift kits for it so it didn’t get popular for wheeling.

guys loved slamming them and making them go fast though

 

My next truck whatever it is wont be getting lifted more than likely. For what I use a truck for it makes no sense. If I do, spacer lift it is.

 

Thats how i feel about them ram when i get one. Probably wont go past a leveling kit if i want any lift.

 

Yeah, it honestly doesn't make any sense to if you aren't going to use it. At that point it's like the stance crew, you spent a lot of money on something you didn't need that doesn't serve a purpose. That said, lifts and appropriate shocks/springs are nice if you drive your shit off of the paved stuff. Leaving a vehicle stock is a mortal sin in my eyes, so i don't buy it unless I have a vision for it.

You saw I got bigass tires the other day right? Already remodeling the interior to suit my camping needs. Waiting on dobinsons to get back to me about spring rates though, progressive rate coils elude me with their equation for capacity.

Needs some siders other then that it looks great.

 

Wheels and sliders. Building my own set of sliders. Have the bumpers I want picked out. I have the cash left over from the Taco to build it all right now, but it's one of those things where I want to use it a bit and gradually figure out what exactly it needs, especially with the suspension.
