You could road trip up north and have @tonered update it for you. He’s done a few people’s trucks. Might be the easiest and least time consuming option

Nope, I'm just trying to find out why 0's and 1's, if's and else's produce different output.
    Ok?

because the ecu logic contains overly complex formulas and everyone has different values input into said formulas. It takes time to find the exceptions that produce undesirable behavior and correct
    them

    I am happy to help.

Also note that updating ECUs with TSBs is not OVT's business stream.

I see some similar thoughts from guys running 04A61, my ecu version, so I don’t disagree that some aspects run consistent within a range. Sounds like you have put together a smaller focus group specific to your ecu that you communicate with.

That seems like a good idea to better know which posts to tune out and what is more applicable to an individual ecu/mod list/octane experience.

I was able to flash to 1.05 87 octane from 1.04 when it was released. Not sure what the heck happened between then and now? I went back through my files and tried to locate my original license but could not find it? I have multiple users of all ages on this laptop, so god only knows what has happened to it. At this point I am almost ready to buy a handheld and stash it in my truck. I have several kids and grandkids.
I sent another help desk ticket in so hopefully they will get back to me, someday! Thank you for your offer to help, I don't think that you can help if I cannot locate my registration key.

I have the URD spec-u. The y-pipe is routed a little differently than the standard URD y-pipe, but it does delete the rear catts. I’ll be installing the catted dump tubes this coming Sat. Will report back if a CEL pops up or not. Which tune are you running? Are you getting the CEL with the catted dump tube tune?

Why can't you flash 1.05 04B02? The MY doesn't matter, just as long as it's the right ECU calibration it'll work

Is the tune ECU backward compatible?

    Example: I am running 04A61 2.0 16012, can I go back to 04A60 1.05 87 Octane.pf5 or even STOCK04A60.pf5?

There are throttle angle vs accel angle limits for each gear.
Then there is a primary throttle table (global)

Changing the th vs accel limits means more throttle at a given angle is possible, which changes calculated torque which changes how/when shifts.

I am available after work, 3pm.

One thing though, I can update you for the TSB. I won't be able to help much with OVT if your computer cannot connect due to the REG file.

Check you old emails from OVT for that file and try it again.

Too lazy to go and fetch my Tuning Laptop, Anyone remember if Mat ever made a 04B04 1.05.1 87 base? Fuel prices have been going up daily for the last week.

Are you currently running 1.05.1 in general on your truck?

Yep. Ran 2.0 OLE (whatever the octane learning version was) used it for many tanks and...for some reason I went back to 1.05.1 91base. 1.05.1 works better for my truck. But...after filling up yesterday I think I might like to run the 87 version until the prices go back to normal.

Did the 19800 pcm files for dongle users ever get posted again? What happened with that?
