Normally I work, but my wife wanted me to take the day to go party with her for Canadian Thanksgiving, which also is today. Her grandpa is from Canada. If it was a paid holiday, I'd be workin it.

Spent Saturday putting in 3M sound deadening pads to inside of the door skins. Ditching the crappy paper speakers with some Rockford Fosgates when they arrive later this week. Will likely drop the headliner and pull the storage bins and add more deadening pads in the coming weeks to rid the road noise Tacomas are notorious of having.

I'm up in the East Bay but I try to get down to that area every now and then if I can. I'll shoot you a PM when I'm heading down there next.

(Although I'm not sure if I can hang out with a Patriots fan) lol jk!

Yeah, just on the outside layer of metal. Maybe I'm supposed to do the inner skin too, I dunno. One sheet of 18" x 32" material was perfect for each door and the stuff was $35/sheet so I wasn't about to go too nuts.

It's actually an adhesive butyl sheet that's stupid expensive (typical of 3M) compared to other brands...but it was given to me from a rep. I'm likely using Noico for my roof and rear panel because of the price and recommendations. Go check the Audio section of the forums and you'll find a lot of advice on sound deadening.
