Lifted to LIFTED

Soo as of now i have spacers in the front and shackles in the back that give my truck a 2.5'' lift... but I am looking to go higher. Up to another 2.5 inches higher. What should i use to add on to my current lift to make it higher? I was thinking 5100's in the front and AAl's in the back. Would this work?

 

NO!!!!!!

its a very bad bad idea to stack lifts like that.

your best bet for 5 inches or 6 inches would be a procomp/fabtec/RCD dropbracket lift.


OR if you are a prerunner you can get spindles

 

Dropbrocket lift if you want to go that high.

Never stack lifts.

Thats unfortunate. I think i might either have to go to a 6'' but thats way to much. Any good 5'' lifts?

 

Drop bracket lift (6" most of the time) is the only way to go to get that much lift with a 4x4..on a reasonable budget that is.

 

damn that sucks. Like i said i have a 2.5'' lift and i look at my truck and say "what lift?" I think 6'' is way over kill for my purposes. O well maybe i'll just get bigger tires so it will be a bit higher. Im running the stock 265's right now. I should be able to fit 285's right?

It looks alot better, it completes the truck IMO.

 

Why did RCD make that kit with the butt so high? Are they blocks or leaves? For drop bracket though, RCD did a great job.
