I wouldn't say converting - just getting additional toys... ;)

    So carrying is an option?

    G48. It's a single stack/slim 19

Yes, but not for this one.

I carry my G19 or LCP.

The wife wants a G43X for carrying. Once she gets that, I'll try it. If I like it, I may pick up a G48 for me...

    My girlfriend got a G48 yesterday. She shot my 19, 43 and we rented a p320c, 48 and 43x.

She shot the 48 and 19 about equally well but liked the slimmer size of the 48. The 43x wasnt even a consideration after the first mag. It was more snappy and she just didnt shoot it as well.

Maybe we should rent one before buying one.

    Thanks for the idea.

Excuse the crappy image. My ex-duty weapon. G22 2nd gen 40, converted to a G19L with a Wolfe bbl and SS guide rod and mainspring. Chopped the stock down, stippled and reduced the grip, undercut and radiused the right trigger guard, extended slide release and mag release and added a tall big-tot trijicon with rear wilson combat carry and a slick 5lb trigger with adjustable creep. Its got G34 ish balance and is super slick in IDPA comps. All my other Glocks are boring carry guns with night sights

Its never a bad idea. When we purchased they took the cost of the range and all the rentals off of the price of the G48. Knocked the overall price down significantly because each rental was ~$8 and the range was $10 for each of us. Was a great incentive to buy then and there and allowed us to try a bunch of diff options.

You should be able to bring a gen 2 home for less than 360 if you look for a police trade in

I get most of my pew pew parts from Nimrod’s Wares. I believe they ship out of Oregon? No sales tax. upload_2019-10-15_21-46-43.jpg

I have this same G22 (without the mods) and love it. It will chew up anything you throw at it. Most reliable weapon I’ve had.

Just finished my first rendition of my dash mount for my Glock 19. It replaces the dash pocket.

I’m already planning a better made one. Would anyone else be interested in one?
