You could always go with this one (below) when you’re ready to upgrade your miter gauge. It wasn't too expensive and a great upgrade to mine. Homemade jigs are going to be your best friend too. Some fence clamps will make using any fence ones way easier too. I used c-clamps for awhile and it’s night and day.

You cast the panels on the ground using a bond break. The crane pops them free and sets them in place.

It is epoxy. I've poked at it with a razor and it's rock hard

We got to choose the color and that is it. We wanted more drawers, no lower cabinets. They would not budge on any changes. To say Ivory homes sucks is an understatement of epic proportions. But, while I hate the builder the location is perfect. I told my wife we can fix anything we don't like after we move in, but we can't fix a bad location. I can put up with a lot of grief from the builder for a front yard like this -

I'm surprised they wouldn't just leave the kitchen empty for you if you didn't like their design.

You would think that, but that would make you guilty of having common sense or good customer service. Nope, Ivory Homes will have none of that!

Probably true. All we wanted was to replace the 24" cabinets with 24" drawers. The one set of drawers is 24" so its not like they didn't already have them.

It seems most builders of “neighborhoods” only offer a few plans. You can make a couple choices on those plans but otherwise you are stuck. We bought used because the one location and house layout we liked wouldn’t allow for dual sinks in the master and had no dining room. It was really odd. Everything else was a standard home layout and even had a three car garage.

After moving every few years for the last 20 we didn’t want to deal with the stress or timeline of a custom build. We also didn’t like that anyone we spoke to had such a wide range of costs, which is understandable from the contractors perspective. It’s just things like the varied potential cost of even the foundation and not knowing what it might be until they break ground was a bit nerve racking.

Can you just call the cabinet manufacturer and buy a new face frame and drawers? You should be able to get something to work if the box is already 24" wide.

As soon as you move it it should break at the seam. Only problem is, sometimes it will chip. Not always, sometimes. Depends on how good they were with the epoxy.
In todays day and age, probably not that good so you would probably be alright. You would be more likely to damage by going with trying to cut it.

Try scoring it deeply with a razor knife and then just slide away from the wall and push down over a 1x. Should just snap and you can sand the epoxy off.
