So last night I sat on the roof of my Taco, with my feet in the bed and dented the roof. Can't pop it out from inside the truck as there is a gap between the fabric and the metal.

Any ideas to quickly pop it out?!

Haha! My little brother and his friends sat on the roof of mine years ago and did the same. I was able to get most of the dent out with a large suction cup.

I got mine from Home Depot, I’m sure you could get one from a lot of other places for less than $10.

I’m skeptical that you will be able to pull out the entire dent 100% but it is on the roof and unlikely to be seen.

if you want perfection, PDR is the way however it requires dropping the headliner which equals labor $$$

God I agree. I dont touch the paint of my truck (unless appreciating a good wash, clay and wax) and cant stand if anyone else touches or rubs their hands on the paint (my kids love doing this, ugh). I make it a point to never rub my fingernails along the inside if the door handle when I open the door. The second my wife drives my truck, a new mar appears under the handle. Sigh..

    Beer + Sunset.

Never been one to baby my vehicles. But I didn't think sitting on the roof would dent it - used to do it all the time with the old farm trucks. Oh well.

The metal is super thin on these trucks, especially the roof. A broom tipped over in the bed of my truck, and the handle next the edge of the roof by the back window. Hired a PDR guy to pull it, and while it looks like new, no way a broom handle should have left a dent.

Yeah I should've known since that hail storm in 2018 but $3k worth of damage on the truck. I was just happy to pocket $3k.
