Totally stock 2007 4 cyl 5 spd MT regular cab... I routinely get 24 mpg in mixed driving. I always calculate from using a full tank, and I almost always fill up at the same pump at the same gas station. In the winter that drops a couple-three mpg because I use 4wd a lot, and winter gas formulations are different, etc. But I'm quite happy with my mileage.

Over short distances I've gotten 36 mpg from my F150. I've gotten 4 mpg too.

    Did a more extensive/precise test

Drove from kfalls Oregon to weed California
    (Gas station to gas station)

    Total trip 74.0 miles
    Consumed 3.25 gallons
    Resulting in 22.77 mpg

I did not rev over 2500 rpms
    & kept speed under 65mph
& this is with a 338k mile taco

I have achieved 24 mpg on a previous test by keeping it under 60mph on a similar distance drive

Goes to show our trucks provide decent gas mileage if you light foot it

Between my two test I noticed hills really ruin gas mileage
The first test was with no hills, flat drive
    & I got 30+ mpg

The 2nd test included numerous up hill pulls
Mt Hebron is a serious uphill pull going south on the 97, & it burns gas up real good
But I still got nearly 23mpg

It's possible, your fuel pump pressure is dropping off so your mileage is going up, but so would your temps.

These trucks aren't known for great mileage. But I gladly trade some of that for their known reliability and longevity!!!!

    I'm happy with 20-24 mpg
One tank goes 400 miles if you drive nice
I'm gonna try 50mph max speed over a duration of miles & see what numbers that yields
(One day when I have time to drive slooooow, ha)

I have had my 2007 reg cab 5 spd manual for 5 years now, so I have a good sense of its mileage. I generally fill up at the same station, and keep careful track of things.

I typically drive a mix of back roads and highway. I nearly always get 24.5 mpg - it's uncanny. This will drop a mile or two in winter - I spend a fair amount of time in 4wd, and it's cold here in NH a lot of the time. But I don't typically see the low-fuel light go on until after 400 mi. When the light comes on, I usually fill up right away, so I've never tested how many miles I can get to a tank.

24.5 x 21 = 514.5, so I could presumably go a bit farther. How many gallons do you want to keep in the tank for the good of the fuel pump?

I've gone on a 305 km (190 mile drive). All highway going about 80kmh (50mph speed limit), but it was very hilly for half of it. I worked out my mileage by hand to be right at 23 mpg.
That's gassing up as soon as l started, and as soon as l got back.
I don't know how people are getting numbers way higher than that??

the i4 was rated at 26 , maybe if you drive like grandma I could see that mileage. I drive 10 Over the posted speed limit so I’ll take 18.5 all day out of the 4.0

I regularly (practically always) get 24+ mpg. This is calculated from filling almost always at the same pump, over the course of 5 years. 4 cyl 5 spd manual reg cab.
