I love my 690 for light offroad/street use. Outside of a 500/501 id say best bike not including sport bikes.
L-track from US Cargo control. Get the 4ft pieces. I only had to cut a few inches off for it to fit between the wheel well.

I saw bike binderz setup this wwekend and it was really slick. Guy had bikes loaded and "strapped" within a minute.
Yeah this. They have a 6 piece motorcycle setup. 2: 4ft sections and 4 rings.
    Nice

I had planned on going for a ride today. Ended up doing a CMC after ticking off some honey-do’s. I have tomorrow though.

The CMC wasn’t on my truck, it was for a customer. I do some fab work for members on occasion. I am determined to go for a ride today though. Weather is going to be perfect.

    Hey everybody,

I'm proud to announce that as of this past Saturday, I have completed the motorcycle safety course for my state and was awarded my M license. :muscleflexing:

I learned a LOT in the class overall, and the time I spent on the range was very valuable to me. I had zero experience before the class so I was a blank slate, and my instructors liked the fact that I listened to every word they said and took their instruction. On the range, I had a Suzuki TU250x and loved it.

I wanted to thank a lot of the members here on TW for not only providing me with great information and advice (spread out over several different threads on the forums and in private messages), but also pushing me to take the class before getting a motorcycle. This was especially good advice because it kept me from potentially learning my own bad habits or poor techniques. I learned the correct methods right from the start, in other words. Now all I need to do is get out there and practice.

With all that said, if anybody in the OH/PA/MD/WV area is selling a 250 or 300 starter bike, let me know. :D

My latest project. This bike is so fun, and draws a crowd wherever I go. I have to remind myself that it’s street legal and i don’t need to run every time I see a cop. It’s total flashback to my youth.

    It’s Harvest time!

Luckenbach, Texas will be hosting the 17th annual Harvest Classic, and looks like we should have beautiful riding weather in the Texas Hill Country. We are headed out Thursday to get some bonus miles in, then camping on site Friday-Saturday. Anybody going?

If I wasn't trying to sell in a couple months I would have tried. :p
