Posting is expired, I would've loved to seen the ridiculous Bay Area markup on commercial properties. I'm trying to find a shop space for myself, and all $1,500/Month gets me is a shady 700-900 sq/ft barely a "warehouse" in Stockton with gangs roaming the streets outside my door.

I follow an Los Angeles Rentals and Sublets page on Facebook and most of them are from the Hollywood/west side area. The other day there was a posting by some girl looking to split her 500sq ft STUDIO space with a roommate, and the rent would be $1100 per person. People were floored but she was serious, of course none of the replies were very kind lol. Felt kind of bad for her but I know for a fact even though it's expensive out here, there are far cheaper areas to rent than to subject yourself to 500 sq/ft of shared space for $1100 a month. Crazy

My old roommate lives in a 1st floor apartment that's only 700 square feet with four other people. He pays $875 per month. There's a guy living in the dining room.
