Hello folks! Just recently picked up a 2014 trd sport dclb, when I got the truck home I noticed the passenger side looked lower than the drivers side so I decided to measure and it was about an inch off. I figured I’d install some air bags and mess with them. After installing the air bags with 10 psi in both lean is still 1”. In order to level the truck out I have to inflate the drivers side to about 25-30 pounds and passenger side 10. I’m wondering if this will hurt the truck and cause some problems down the road. Not to happy with this lean!

    Rear only?

Sounds like a broken leaf spring, or badly sagging.

The drivers side spring did look to be sagging a bit more than the passenger side. The front end is dead on. Had the wheels off to check for a cracked spring and could not see any cracks. It’s kind of concerning but the truck still rides well.
I find when I look from the bumper the drivers side leaf is on the over load spring and passenger is not but when looking from under the truck from the front they look the same . Not sure what my options are to fix this

Mine still leaned even after a frame change including springs, shocks. I keep enough air in the left air bag to compensate.

Probably should just get some newish springs from someone on here or craigslist. My truck leaned pretty bad cause it had a broken leaf and a shop replaced it with a newer one causing some lean. I just installed new leafs from a 3rd gen which fixed it and they can be found for cheap ~$100.
    Are your leafs 4 (3 plus 1 overload) or 3 (2 plus 1 overload)?

Weird as most of us have driver side sitting a tad lower.

Yeah it’s really strange I haven’t seen any other Tacoma leaning as bad as mine. Got it from the dealer “certified used” wonder if I should go in and see if they will do anything about it

You should measure from centre of hubs to fender, front and back and then you will know for sure how much you are leaning.

After measuring from centre hubs to fenders in rear I am now getting about half inch difference. With 5 psi in passenger side and 15 in drivers side I can get it to about 1/8 to 1/4 lean front end is dead on.

Where in Canada? I have the stock springs from my 2012 still that I removed when I lifted the truck. Been sitting here for four years taking up space.
