Lets plan a weekend trip for early November somewhere in the south west quarter of OH or in the area.

Not familiar with the area, but lets do something

If you open that up to an approximately 2.5-hour radius from Cincinnati, there are a handful of places to go. I have some work travel planned, but I'm typically home on the weekends. Let's go!

I went to Rush Saturday for a few hours. Fishing trip turned into wheeling real quick lol

I’d like to take my truck on a wheelin trip. But it’ll depend on the weekend. I have my kids every other weekend and I’d prefer to go on one of my solo weekends.

I know its pretty last minute but would anyone want to go on a weekend wheeling trip starting either Friday or Saturday?

Again, not sure where, but within 2ish hours of cinci would be great. Would anyone like to come, and recommendations on places?

Work sucks and I need something to look forward to. When is the next outing?

Side note, my bro put this together from our exploring. He was here for a day during drive from Sacramento to South Carolina.

The owner opened it back up about a month ago, so long as people are being respectful. Not sure of the reason it was shut down in the first place.

EDIT, this was shot 2 weeks ago

Yeah I'd heard of the closing, but not the re-opening.
Maybe it was intentionally un-publicized to reduce traffic?

I also very much want to go check that whole area out also @rdpoe

I'm currently free 11/16 weekend and tentatively 12/14 weekend lol

My avatar photo is at the overlook just a few weeks ago. (Tri Community Fall Ride) We were there with the property owners son, along with Lee county judge executive, and a few other "well connected locals". We were told it would close forever if there's another incident. There were no "no trespassing" signs posted.

Bill, do you know what precipitated it being shut down in the first place?

The pump jacks were vandalized . They still pump some oil. Owner has small income from them.

Also, when it was vandalized, there was quite a lot of evidence of drinking left behind. (Cans and bottles) NOT a good thing in the owners eyes

Let me know a few days before the trip. If I'm up to it, I'll go too. (Have MS and everything is day to day....)
