    personally, I think I'd stick around as long as they let me to take advantage of the care. can't be easy dealing with the recovery when you live on your own.

    I've been walking !!!! , Ea time I go to PT it's just about 800 steps or 10 minute walk ea way . I'm also every 4 hrs walking around the rehab facility

    mom got a blood clot after her hip replacement (she was on blood thinners too) and it was the scariest thing. happened the day before thanksgiving. lets just say me cooking all of thanksgiving dinner by myself while mom was in the next room with her oxygen tank, wheezing and complainging how cold is was while I was dripping sweat over the stove was not exactly a good holiday memory. dad and my brother chipped in where they could but for the most part that holiday weekend is a bit of a blur.

    keep moving as often as you can and take whetever meds the docs give you. thats an order! :angrygirl:
