    Originally on my supercharger the grey unit, it came with a bracket of some sorts like that, dont remember.
    I removed it when I updated to the dynamic tensioner

    ICON/TC TRD Supercharger URD 2.2 and 7th
    I got one of the brackets and modified it to use with my dynamic tensioner, for nose cone support. If you think about it, there’s quite some leverage from the belt/pulley to the point where the SC bolts to the intake.

    i need to find a bracket because my block wont take the tensioner.. its the whole reason im building a new engine.. the bolt hole for the dynamic is rotted out.

    you dont happen to know how fast the blower is spinning with a 2.0 do you? the m62 max rpm is something like 14k rpm i believe. gotta be close id think?

    Yea, I’m at 15k or so If I remember maybe it was 16k, cannot go any smaller than 2”.
    I just scored a bracket from another member and have another member who has one too.

    the 1st member paid and done.

    Actually I’m very surprised because all these supercharger should have the added support because the nose sticks so far out and is held on by those small bolts with 12 pounds of torque.

    It would definitely help out the pressure on the bearings too.

    This is my goal to support the front of the supercharger now essentially cutting the one side off of the bracket

    was it the whole thing? i want to put the blower on the 02 maybe but its suffering from the same issue as my 01. dynamic no workie thanks to the rot.

    I believe his is complete.

    Does the the inside valley actually touch the snout for support under the nose
    or is it just the support at the bolt that goes into the snout housing.

    I can see one could put a rubber gasket inbetween that area

    Does the bracket with the curve actually touch the nose section and give it support or is it just supported from the bolts?
    The bolt hole looks oval like there mine some small adjustment to push it up against the snout?

    I’m thinking that with that pre made valley under the snout it could easily do that with a rubber gasket too, fuel line cut in two as a gasket fitted in the valley on the bracket
