Hey all I am putting a tent on top of my Tacoma and was wondering if I should go with channel stiffeners or if the linex does the same job. This will be for the new 2020 TRD pro. Anyone know if Toyota solved the bed problem so I don’t need the stiffeners anymore?

They are for completely different purposes. If you are worried about bed wear and tear from loading/unloading stuff get line-x, if you are worried about the bed sides splaying out from additional weight of a tent or shell get the bed stiffeners.

Thanks! Any idea on if Toyota updated the bed for 2020 or should I still do the stiffeners just in case?
