    180f. You can get a 170. I already have it but it only dropped my temps a few degrees.

    After installing the cfs radiator, my temps only dropped a few degrees. I knew that the factory thermostat was probably the bottle neck in my quest for 185* running temps.

    After dropping in the mishimoto 160* t-stat/housing, now I am struggling getting past 174* operating temperature. It has been little cooler outside than usual, however, I think I was too aggressive stepping down 20* in thermostat opening temperatures.

    Anyone else running into this issue?

    That's not a bad thing. That's where it works. Just watch if during the winter times. If it has a difficult time reaching over 168°, then you will want to get a 170° thermostat.

    My worry now is that even the 174* was reached for a brief moment on the hwy cruising at 80, revving close to 3k (4.88 on 35s), is not going to allow for the oil to properly warm up.

    I am not sure if mishimoto offers a 170* t-stat. The 160* was a good option because it came in the same OEM housing and was very easy to install and the price is great.
