I just read the OP and it said black trails only. If I can get my Jeep neighbor to go with me, I'll consider it and just stick to riding the easy trails. He's been and said he loved it! I've never been there though.

Anyone reserving camp sites. Just trying to figure out if I need to get one reserved and if other are in a specific place.

Good question, if you reserve a spot let me know and I will call and reserve one too or we can share one, they allow 6 people per spot or two trucks. The spots are big enough for two trucks. All they have are the overflow spots and they are $25 plus tax a night plus $3 per additional adult. So one spot with one truck would be $25 or 2 trucks with 4 adults would be $31

Don't forget that they won't let you bring firewood and charge you $5 for a 8 dried out toothpicks.

Not to be that guy but if we are being pedantic the firewood really needs to originate close to the destination. In prior conversations I have heard firewood needs to travel no further than 50 miles.

Knew they were some kind of restrictions but I remembered you didn't have to buy from just Windrock, everything at Windrock has a high price tag.

Their website says firewood has to come from 30 miles of the park.

I thought they had primitive camping here, though? All I see are reserved campsites, RV sites, and cabins.

I'm pretty sure there's a guy selling wood out of his front yard on the road into Windrock

Yes Sir, they also sell it at a few gas stations near by that was cheaper than Windrock

As far as I remember you can have multiple people per site people should group together. Wanna split one?
