Scored some OME Dakar HD for a great price! Really help out the rear end with all the weight in the back. Cleaned them up and painted them and as good as new.

IIRC it's basically pressed onto 3 threaded studs on the kickpanel/floor. Maybe get a claw hammer behind it and give it a tug if you can't get your fingers behind it

I think a claw hammer is overkill, but just take a large flat screwdriver, get under the plastic and just pop it off.
It is well attached by the 3 stud like things, it will take some force, but there is no mechanical fasteners

I only said hammer because of the curve for leverage/angle. Not everyone has plastic interior tools or pry tools.

fair enough. The deadman's pedal is one of those, "The damn thing won't come off" or it's "the damn thing keeps falling off"

hmmm. that's another thing "looking" can search for is deadman's pedal (don't bother on youtube, I got nothing there)

oooh, we are just getting started
Got the truck recently, so I have been running through maintenance stuff I don't know the providence of.
    Cabin filter (definitely due)
    Air Filter (definately over-due).
Spark plugs (most were gapped to .60 so I would say, due or not, glad I pulled them). At lease 224,000 in it is good to know the plugs were changed at least once before)
Cleaned the Throttle Body while I was already in so far to do plugs. (gapped to .41)

None of the guides I saw on changing the lugs prepared me for what a bastard the 4th plug wire loom was about to be however...
