Well, atleast a lot of the people Ive been meeting. Some a lot further down the line hoping for the boogaloo to take off, some actively trying to get it to take off.

 

There was a case out of Ohio a while back. A kid was a volunteer firefighter and an EMT if I remember correctly. He was either 17 or 18 and kept his equipment, including a knife, in his Jeep. He attended some vocational school and had aspirations of joining the army and later becoming a police officer. Some snowflake found out he had the knife in his Jeep and reported it to the bureaucrats who ran the school, and this poor kid was forced to allow police to search his truck (ain’t nobody going in my truck without a warrant unless it’s at federal building, I can tell you that). He ended up getting arrested and charged with at least one felony, and this poor kid facing his entire career being ruined before it began. The prosecutor refused for the longest time to even reduce the charges because he said the kid needed to be made an example of. Luckily, the prosecutor came to his senses, pulled his head out of his ass, and allowed the kid to plead to drastically reduced charges (no felonies).

Zero tolerance=zero brains!

 

Especially the egotistical rent-a-nazis at malls...

God Bless America, but damn if this country ain't become the most sissified nation I think I've ever seen in a long long time. Whatever happened to stepping behind the woodshed, duking it out with someone, shake hands and be friends afterwards. Now it's, "Don't touch me, I'll call the cops and have you arrested for assault"! I started to lose hope when they started issuing stress cards in Basic Training in the Army. Thank God, they did away with that shit.

yeah, in my area they publish everything after an arrest; name, mugshot, charges, everything. Shit, there is a facebook page that people read like the newspaper that is posted everyday.

The biggest problem I have with stuff like this is that all this is published BEFORE conviction. Though the records are deleted if proven innocent people jump to the conclusion that your guilty for just getting arrested, could effect a trial too. Happened to me. I was arrested for an OWI when I was drinking and decided it would be a good idea to cover my motorcycle. Damn thing tipped over and crushed my leg. Neighbor heard the commotion and called the cops. Was able to prove I was innocent with the help of an exmillitary dude that used to track targets in the middle east and the tracking data Google stores. But a bunch of people I knew saw the mugshot that was published and would talk shit behind my back. They made their decision when that info was published.
