Anytime buddy, glad I could help! Truck was a bit hard to turn without power steering, lol.

One CMC out of 7 I've done in the last couple weeks. Must be season, people are getting their rigs all dialed in for playtime, lol.
Figured I would give a picture of the stages of work and how I do them. I try to keep them as stock looking as possible.IMG_8355.jpg IMG_8357.jpg IMG_8361.jpg

And a reroute for a flat belly TC case skid...I use mandrel bends in order to keep the bends flowing 100%, as a matter of fact this flows even better than stock since the factory uses double wall flattened tubing in that particular spot!IMG_8376.jpg IMG_8373 (1).jpg IMG_8366.jpg

Thanks Bob, hope its not too hot up in Nevada for ya!! Been hot as a frying pan around here, well for me because Im a sissy and dont like 90 degrees and a UV rating of 9 all the time..

Thank you! I've done over 700 of them now. Iv'e had a ton of practice.
I created custom templates that I use to cut the steel plates out for all the different chassis, I make them for all full frame Toyota vehicles (Tacoma, 4R, Tundra, FJ)
Thanks for your comment and appreciate for your service buddy.

Ok now gotta do some more stuff on Rhy's build (its a LOTTA work), Ill snap some pics of his rig, its absolutely amazing and set up very well. Now its under the knife for a C4 fab rear HC bumper w/swingout, dual battery setup, racks for cab and shell, and a whole bunch of lights.
Already did an ARB front bumper and BP-51 shocks all around, UCA's, etc...this thing is gonna be an example to follow, that's for sure!

Thanks @Speed Freek for the lift install this past Saturday. You did a stellar job and the truck rides excellent. You were a bit of a drive from me but it was well worth the trip. The wife and I got to visit some Temecula wineries while you performed the work. Bilstein 6112/5160 4/5 notch, Headstrong 3 leaf AAL with overload taken out and Camburg UCA. Slight rake too which I wanted.

Thank you my friend! Was great meeting you and hope you can enjoy the truck when you do go places where the roads aren't paved. Always happy to help. That's what the truck is for right?
Thank you for the review, I've been slacking in that department lately due to my workload! I rarely get online these days since I've been a bit overwhelmed lately (the past 2 years actually..)
I wish I had helpers, more so lately since I've been trying to achieve so many goals I've set for myself! I guess there are some con's to being raised by a Master Guns in the Marine Corps. Who woulda' thought! As I have said before, it is what it is, adapt and overcome or expect to fail miserably.

Indeed, I try to use my truck for all sorts of fun stuff. I can see why you need some help. You weren't even fully done with the truck that you worked on all week when I pulled up. I like your setup though and I have a feeling we will be seeing each other again lol. Also my dad was a Marine Gunnery Sgt. too and Drill Instructor and growing up was tough.

I highly recommend Jason for the quality of his work!

Initially, I had all my suspension done by a well-known off road shop in Orange County, CA (no need to name it). I didn't trust a regular suspension shop, so I went to a specialized one.

Well, as Jason and I found out, the shop cut quite a few corners. Not one, not two, but several! Very, very disappointed with the shop... I'll never bring my truck there. Anyway, Jason replaced the leaf springs and rectified the crappy job done by the shop.

It looks like there are many who can wrench on a Tacoma, but not too many who are really, truly good at it, like Jason is.

Indeed. I might add that he wrenched on my truck when it rained during most of the day in Vista. He didn't have to do that but it shows the quality of his character to commit to the set date/time.

It sure instills a stellar ethic base if nothing else! And looking forward to helping out in the future.
But yeah I stay pretty busy and since I do it all solo I tend to run full speed 24/7. Is what it is, much better than the alternative!
So thankful I am able to do this full time since its something I enjoy doing..
    See you soon buddy!

Thank you so much, Im glad i was able to help. If you ever need anything down the road please don't hesitate to ask!

I didnt expect the rain, but its OK I can roll around in a little water and dirt sometimes. Cant be sunny and clear every day I suppose. Once I lock it in I really hate to change things around...more so for my customer having to reschedule, etc..
Thanks again buddy and hope you have fun with the truck!!

@Speed Freek Quick question since you worked for Toyota. What is Toyota's SOP for the UCA through bolt? Do they cut it off and insert backwards or bend sheet metal to remove and replace it?

    hmm, also curious my self.
Ive heard that you can drop the body mount bolts, push the body up a tad and slide out the bolt.. I would image they'd do something similar to prevent damaging the sheet metal?
