Recently installed both a tonneau cover and rotopax tanks in my truck. The cover is an UnderCover Ultra Flex. Really happy with it so far. I didn’t realize it came with a light on it, but really have found it handy. I ordered a header rail online and installed it to mount the rotopax tanks. Also got the lockable handles for the tanks for added security. Photos attached below.

I assume the pre modded 2020 headlight you have isn’t plug in play with 16-19. Nice work on what you did.

Will gas fumes build up in your bed with the cover closed? I know there are gaps in the bed that air could circulate through but would that be enough on a hot -n- humid day?

I vent them often to avoid problems inside the tanks, but haven’t noticed much of any smell outside. I don’t think there’s too much of an issue...it’s not totally sealed off. But I check on it regularly anyhow

I'm a little confused. Did you sell the Taco? you were talking about parting it out which seemed odd since it's a running truck. Maybe you were referring to some of the mods you did. Anyway, congats on your growing family. Kids are great and keep you young chasing them around.

    Yup. High beam replacement.
    Who me? Not me..

Thanks for the offer, I’ll keep it in mind:)
Although I do have a 3D scanner, the pod was just mocked up with Cardboard Aided Design since it was pretty flat. Then I use fusion 360
For design. Solid works is over my head haha

it will not. The 2020 LED have a different plug. Although it’s pretty easy(just 1 plug and 6 wires) it will have to be converted to use with previous trucks, and models without LED.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
If those amber lights are DRLs, that could be a problem. In Illinois at least, amber is for parking lights and it's illegal to ride around with your parking lights on (though I've never heard of anyone ever getting ticketed for it).

I would love to have white DRLs that change to amber when the switch is in the "parked" position.

You might need to check your facts. The DRLs on my SR5 are amber. That's how Toyota makes them.

    You do the front too?
I’m about to do front rear and transfer case again. But I can’t locate my pump. Was wondering if there’s another way to fill the front diff.
