I really like Mizelles & Rays Collision Center, Inc in Norfolk. They do good and have come highly recommended by many of the grease monkey co-workers.

I had mine done at Atlantic Shoreline near Lynnhaven Mall right before I moved. Super friendly and helpful staff, as well as top of the line 3M tint. Definitely recommend them.

Ah. See there we go. I was SUPER close to having the Tactical Tint guy do mine. Went to his shop, seen his work, the man knows his craft. BUT I wanted a different kind of film that's actually designed for heat and UV. I'll give these guys a look.

They use 3M tint and they dissipate the heat and don't allow UV in. They have this cool little heat lamp display in side their waiting room that show the different levels of heat dissipation and all.

When I get home tonight, I'll check my paperwork to see what level of 3M tint I ended up getting. But darkness wise, I did limo in the back and 50% on the front two windows.

I want mine to match. Hard to do with the factory tint and not going so dark that you start getting pulled over. Have to find the right combination. Wish you could legally tint your windshield in VA...

Looking at selling these in the next couple of weeks. I have another set of wheels coming. Looking at getting $425 no tires, no sensors no lugs. It will be the whole set of 4 coming from the original Tacoma 04C6F7E7-F746-4A3E-BF9E-9F2C8FD9D96B.jpg

IIRC, all of their 3M tints block out almost, if not all, UV light. The heat difference does change per darkness though

I’m pretty sure even plain Jane car windows block out uv light. Otherwise you’d be getting sunburned rolling down the highway. Maybe the tint just blocks out a different kind of uv? I dunno.

They do. Tint blocks out more. Or so they say.

I paid somewhere in the $350 range (I think..?) all windows but the windshield on my 4Runner. There pricing was all over for different levels of tint though. I got the 2nd highest level
