I didn’t care for it either. Felt like while I could get used to the touchiness of the tip in, the rest of its overall shifting characteristics just felt way less smooth in comparison to 16012. 16012 def feels sluggish in comparison, but for 04A61 the shifting characteristics are more butter than any other tune I’ve loaded, flats, hills, local, traffic, etc.

I do like how 19800 mellowed the touchy tip in on 19770, but still find it to be a bit quirky in shifting across all above mentioned conditions.

Basically, for me on 04A61, if there could be an aggressive version of 16012, it seems that would be the dream tune.

Agreed! 19770 on 04B31 was amazing! Loved the aggressive tip in, made it fun to drive all the time!

Ditto on this assessment, sent to Mat as a vote for 16012 but I agree with the last sentence for sure.

sortof stock. 6112/5160, pro wheels and a tune.
so we definitely need a FAQ thread for the tunes.

i’m on 1.05.1 now, i want to try 2.0. do i just flash it to 2.0? also, do i need to reset the LV and AT values again? i never reset the LV.

    Hello everyone.
During our down time / renovation and finishing up our new building we want to make sure everyone knows that we will only be available by zendesk, and during this time our primary goal is to get all customers up to date, fix pending issues, etc.
So, we will not be responding to every ticket, or answering every individual question.

The purpose of this is not to ignore anybody. It's to give us all the necessary time we need to prepare our new platform for working with you guys when we come back.
If you don't hear from us, we are not ignoring you. I personally read every single ticket.

This is part of our game plan when we are back up and running. titles on tickets. But I don't want to cause additional confusion right now about that.

Everything is changing (for the better). We launched our zendesk to make things better due to the growth from the this community (which we are grateful for) and now we are doing another round of "upgrading" how we handle everything for a much better customer support and product experience.

But that interim time, like now, is just a shit mess.

A lot of people don't. Sometimes people have some quirky stuff that happens that clearing sometimes helps.

I think the best application for resetting is when you’re on a file that gives you problems such as the stumble that some had on 105. When 105.1 was released (a modified tune that helped fix the problem), you could flash the new tune and clear LV to make the truck forget bad habits.

It’s good for judging a file too because you’re experiencing the file without anything being carried over from the previous tune.

    Also what @ihatemytruck said.

To clear or not to clear... it’s not critical. Don’t over think it

Is zendesk broken right now? I can't download my reg file from the link you sent me and neither can my buddy. 1st image is what I get and clicking the logged in here link takes me to page doesn't exist. I've tried deleting cookies and re-logging in to no avail.

I'm sure this has been addressed before but I'm having trouble finding good information- I've been running the 1.05 91 octane performance tune for about 3 weeks now and I am really happy with it. 10x better than stock. My question is what specifically is so much better about the 2.0? If I had to I could come up with a few small complaints like gas mileage being down 1-2 MPG but gladly giving that up for the driveabilitly being so much better. More low to mid range power would always be welcome but again it's still better than stock. I have not re-geared and it seems like the 2.0 is for people with 4.88 and 5.29 gears? I could be wrong. I have a 17 automatic with 2.5 inch lift and 275/70R17 E rated tires and TRD intake and exhaust(sounds so much better with the tune!!!). Again, loving the 1.05 91 performance tune just wondering if I'm really missing out on something with the 2.0

2.0 is much better than 1.05 IMO. Try it for yourself. What do you have to lose? You can always flash back to 1.05 if you want to. Just remember that all of the 2.0 releases so far are BETA TUNES, they are not finished products.

My stock DCLB B31, 19770 tip in was too aggressive for my conditions. 19800 (87) is much better. Everything is the same except the milder tip in. Just pulled out on black ice for the first time this year and the ass end got sideways before I noticed the ice. Stayed in 2-W without any problem after that. Passed several vehicles in the ditch and one against a guardrail. The 19800, 87, with 90oct is pretty smooth.

I just came off 1.05 87 performance GL , switched to 2.0 91 (19800). The 2.0 is much smoother with less tip in... seems to stay in gears longer than 1.05. I also had a lift, 285’s and stock gears.....2.0 is more refined than the 1.05, worth trying for sure. I’m sure the final release will even be better!
