There is a 2017 SR Taco near me: 2.7 ltr, manual, 4x4, 37k miles. Not a bad asking price - its at a dealer - and I did a quick search on the vehicle via the plate and it came up with 4 NHTSA recalls which are as follows:

2017-04-27 NHTSA Recalls Power Train > driveline > differential Unit
    2017-06-01 NHTSA Recalls Engine
2017-12-20 NHTSA Recalls Equipment > other > labels
2018-04-03 NHTSA Recalls Service Brakes, Hydraulic > power Assist > vacuum

It doesn't show a sale price before these, just that it was shipped to a dealer and the MSRP price.

    After the recalls it shows:

    2018-12-30 25,571 miles Sales Price: $27,999

Prior to the two last recalls it showed "30 miles" and then it goes to the above sale info at 25k.

Now the truck is at 37k.

Does this strike you as odd? The truck has been up for awhile and I've been temped by it. Dealer is asking 25k for it.

    Thoughts?

Take the truck to a competent mechanic have him throw a scan tool on it and do a thorough inspection probably take an hour. He will be able to tell you if it’s good or junk for about a 100 bucks.

That is what I paid for for my 2019 Access Cab 4x4 2.7 Auto, purchased new. Offer $19K and have them toss in an extended warranty.
