    i have two on my roof, i cleaned it up real good and put a small dab of clear polish over the spot so it would not rust.

    i have many of rock chips and such so i have done it a couple times. just clean the spot really good and dab a dot over it so the bare metal wont get moisture and rust.:D
    it would be a site to see me chasing down a flock of seaguls with a chainsaw.....
