Nope some other a-hole, I think bugs had some play in it...it would be nice if the OP would just spill it already.

 

OP's not gonna name names and this thread's pretty much pointless by now so I move in favor to lock.

 

I wasn't calling the Op an a-hole but the Duchebag that tried to rip him off. There is no excuse for people to be a conartist. And how is there a breakdown in communication if they won't respond for months (according to the OP) and selling something that is advertised as just needing a rebuild when a very compotent shock guy said they are junked? Plus if all they needed were a rebuild then why wouldn't the seller do it and sell them for more?

Honestly the guy purchased some pricey shocks for cheap, that needed rebuilding, yet the rebuild was free. That is a red flag but none the less that was what the seller was selling. However it isn't what the buyer received. Thus I would have asked for a full refund.
As long as all is happy then this thread served its purpose and though the seller needed some coaxing he still manned up.

 

You bought them for dirt cheap knowing that they needed a rebuild and now you're surprised that they're not in good condition?

 

Ok so I talked with Zack/A Bugs Life and he was just making a joke when he posted the this was him who sold the shocks in the first place. I can confirm that he hasn't posted any Leepers shocks for sale at the stated price by the OP ($120) through a search of his posts for the last few months. For those that wrote negative comments about him, I think it would be appropriate to go back and delete those as this was just a joke that went bad.

 

Not to knock Icon, but there was quite a bit of hurt feelings and such between Leepers and Icon towards the end (words exchanged, court, etc). I dont know if Trent would hold a grudge against Leepers or not, but I really think I'd get a second opinion on getting those rebuilt.
