Toyota Driver Score

I am wondering if this is active on EU vehicles. GPDR is no joke. If it is active in the EU then Toyota should be able to produce vast amounts of documentation on how they use and protect this information/data.

 

Virginia is thinking of a mileage tax that will require vehicles to be out fitted with these devices....

 

It’s happening - just slowly enough - but it’s happening. Anybody who thinks this is still a free country should have his head examined. We may be better off than most but I still wonder how long it’ll be till we’re not.

 

I was involved in an accident (not my fault) a few yrs back and pissed off the other drivers insurance company when I took the event data recorder out of the car in the tow yard.... When they asked about it I told them get a warrant

Depending entirely on the situation, all this tech can be your best friend or your worst enemy.

 

I can't help but feel every person that feels like this, that, and the other can be used against you might just be the same people that keep an extra rug in the house and don't mind digging holes at night.

If it is rooted in the Entune system, don't worry, it will fail.

Most vehicles have this now. My buddy didn't even know about it until he took his truck in one day for warranty and they pulled the data logs.

 

Mandatory items for the truck
1. Shovel
2. Bag of lime
3. Disposable firearm.

 

Any firearm that's been bought private sale with no paperwork or maybe something without serials is a disposable firearm

 

No floor mat position sensor? I am disappointed.

 

That would sure free up a lot of the service department's time.

 

Dealer is looking into it for me, they’ve been fair with me over the years so I’m not at all upset with them. I bought taco because it’s a hell of a product, doesn’t change how I feel. But I want Toyota to be transparent on this data collection and sharing.
