I could be wrong and I'm not by my truck to verify, but I swear the sticker says 9xx for payload. If you Google tacoma payload it gives a range starting at 1120 lbs like you said and goes up from there a little bit.

So 500lb more than mine, but with a heavier truck. I figured it would be more.

I wonder if this is related to legislation. Getting over a certain gvwr may get more expensive?

The right way is to buy a new truck with a higher GVWR or loose some of what you carry to drop the weight. Heavier suspension will mask the problem and lift the truck back up to where it should be and give you enough suspension travel to keep you from bottoming out so easily.

Your right. Door sticker shows 950 minus 10 pounds. So I’m pretty much at GVWR. Nice

Once again family’s, listen up this vehicle might not be for you.

Or move some stuff to a trailer. GCWR tends to have more head room.

OME rear nitrochargers and Dakar leaf pack with overload. I had the exact same issue as you, loaded up with full gear my rear sagged with Icon rear shocks and AAL. Swapped out everything in the rear and love the ride now. I started to get concerned about the overall weight coming in at 3 tons, but talked to a few toyota mechanics and they said the axle and brakes can handle it, the suspension was the weak point.
