I'm over in Carson City, NV - very close to the Rubicon. Though my 4runner isn't lifted enough, I'll keep an eye out on this thread in hopes we can catch a drink, man.

You've got a couple issues you're going to have to over come in order for that to happen.....
    1. You're going to have a hard time finding someone or a group in that short of time to run it
    2. The norcal TW crew is clique-y :stirthepot:
    3. Rubicon isn't a trail to take a stranger on and find out they are a tire spinning lunatic. If you don't have any throttle control you are going to have a hard time finishing the trail and most folks aren't going to want to strap someone several miles of rock crawling to get a clown back to the trailhead. Keep in mind the Rubicon has a pretty solid 12mile block of technical rock crawling varying from easy crawling to things where if you don't know what you are doing you're going to break or flop.

The only "long" trail I would do up there with a stranger would be Swamp Lake since it doesn't have a lot of obstacles or rock crawling. Rubicon, Dusy-Ershim, or Fordyce would be unbearable to run with someone without adequate experience. Not saying that as a slam to you, you might be good on technical trails, but trying those trails with a stranger is a big gamble.

Others have offered and I'll do the same, I don't have any plans for any more norcal trails this year, but if you make it down to Socal I'll hit some trails with you, I work shift work so we could set it up on weekdays when most people are working.
