Reminds me, even in New housing area where I had a home lololol 2 years into this brand new home and community and I install a Pacific Energy high efficiency wood stove. I hated paying 200 bucks a month to keep house kinda warm. I'd go through about 3-4 chords of wood a year and that's keeping a fire going 24/7 except to clean out ash. And never had to turn on the furnace. I did just to keep stuff functioning every couple Months. And I'd spend my spring and summer Saturday mornings picking up free wood when people would have their trees dropped. I miss running my saws and stuff. I gotta get back to the good life. Always had 2-3 years worth, 10-12 chords drying at any given time. I bordered my fence with it lol

Now that is one of the coolest posts I've ever seen on a forum man. That is something else. What state is he in?

After Cornwallis serrendered to General Washington at Yorktown the English fleet off loaded their unwanted troops here. Mostly paid mercenaries and convicts were awarded this land as a gift from the Queen of England and given a few guineas apiece. Known today as Guineamen their decendents live in this lowcountry and earn a living as watermen.

My truck drove perfect; got here only to look underneath and see my transmission pan is leaking and my rear shock blew (only 2k miles on it)

All recent of course, underneath it's still wet and the leak is fresh.

Ooof...where's it leaking from? Is it trans fluid? If it looks like engine oil on the trans it might be the rear main seal between the engine/trans.

Sucks about the shocks but hopefully Fox will take care of it with so few miles. Easy/cheap to rebuild if not

Really hope it isn't the rear main seal, before leaving I'll check to see what's low.

I only mention rear main seal because there was a thread yesterday where a guy thought his trans was leaking but it turned out to be engine oil from the rear mail seal running back onto the trans, depending on what the fluid is you might just have a lose plug on it or something. I'm not really familiar with the layout of the auto trans though
