Hey All, thought I’d put this in the local thread since you guys are more familiar with our terrain. I am close to giving my truck a 2 inch ome lift with hd Dakars. My one concern is being a little top heavy on exposed off cambered old mining roads. GF and I don’t go out of our way to find Offroad trails. More so hot spring hunting and remote camping/fishing.

Stock TRD OR Skids are pretty torn up. It would be nice to have a better suspension package / more clearance with the weight of GFC + camping gear.

Anyone have input or regret lifting ?

I regretted getting HD Dakar’s that didn’t support their advertised weight, but not the lift once I had adequate springs (Deavers in my case)

I don't know what weight they were advertised for but...
For those of you wondering what the Dakars can handle it's a lot.
This is 126 25lb retaining wall blocks 3,150lbs (1 1/2" from bump stops). Load is not centered over axle or all the way forward in bed. The truck would have gone a lot less Bro if I had loaded it all the way forward.

Yep, I'm in the same boat. Plus a cab mount, 33's, wheels, gears, diff, and a winch.....for now.
