i am still stumped on exactly where this highway speed wind rattle is coming in through the vents with fresh air door open

this is a pic from another TW member, it maybe the root of this irritating problem, that's been going on all this year
but i don't know! i have not seen anybody else yet that has had this issue

@Black DOG Lila, how did you know i hit the lottery in 2oo1 lol
... i have never purchased a ticket so I don't know how it even happened!

it has not come to the point yet of getting the dash out, that would be a huge undertaking!
my thoughts are that the body shop did not properly put my truck back together when i left it in their capable hands at the beginning of the year, big offroad ding on the hood protecter, that damaged the hood a bit and marker light and windshield, etc.
the problem is I cannot readily locate the one item they stripped out and did not replace as it was

Nice looking rig. What size tire and wheel you running and what's your suspension setup?

The ome 3" kit...for a DC 4x4 did you go 882 or 883? Dakar leaf pack without removing any leafs?

    Hey guys,
So I'm getting ready to replace my radiator, is there any how-to-videos out there or diy? My truck is 3.4L manual transmission.
    Thanks!

I'm sure there are videos out there, but it's pretty easy assuming you're going with a stock radiator.

This step-by-step guide covers replacement of the timing belt and water pump, but the first step in that is draining and removing the radiator.

Step by Step Toyota Tacoma Timing Belt Replacement for 3.4L V6 5VZFE

I've also got a bunch of photos of the radiator drain/removal from the shop day where I actually did the steps above...installation is also covered, including this funnel, which makes it way easier to burp the system: Lisle 24680 Spill-Free Funnel

Finally fixed my flickering led, fixed my hot/cold mixing issue but replacing the entire ac unit with a 4Runner unit, and got some new knobs that give the truck a more updated look.

Now my ocd can finally be happy with blue and green (green being the ac, recirc, and cb led’s) instead of blue green and orange.

Changed out the igniter for my retro fit head light! Been driving with 1 head light for like two weeks. Guess that the one down side to having them. If a part goes bad you can’t just go to the part store for it.

True but if your like me you have plenty spares to swap when needed. It's also still brighter with one HID headlight working than 2, 3 or even 4 halogen headlight pairs.

I have spare bulbs. But don’t keep any other parts on hand, as they are not cheap. Luckily the warranty at the retrofit source is great. But their shipping is slow. But I agree I had plenty of light to drive.
