    I'll have to find the site, but i swear i saw factory replacement components where you could replace the standard handle with a locking component.

    I wonder since we can add one actuator to control the locking mechanism of the tailgate for under $15, why a second and third unit couldn't be added that would force a small rod up through the top of the tailgate and through small steel lock hasp ring attached to the inside bottom of the window frame, like this

    Bilstein 5100's w/front's set at 1.75", TRD exhaust, Colormatched grill, Illuminated 4wd selector switch, BAMF Bolt on Sliders w/kickout.
    Conner, do you know if I can access these from inside the cab with the headliner pulled out. My thought is I can just put a strip of Flex Tape over all of the bolt holes and seal them up that way. I don't dare try to remove the roof rack as I think several of the bolts for the brackets are cross threaded.

    Yep. Should be easy since a few people drilling them for the access cab have plunged through the headliner. Although I remember the headliner being no small task to remove

    Yeah, it will be a couple hour project.

    Will probably also take the rack off the brackets and run a bead of silicone around all the brackets and bolts to try to seal them up that way too!
